I often get questions from friends, co-workers and even strangers: "where did you find that?" usually relating to a piece of clothing I'm wearing. The piece of clothing in question is usually purchased at a thrift store.

Second hand clothing stores are a GOLD MINE, one that many do not take advantage of for numerous reasons such as:

My Response: "Girl, then stop asking me where I bought my clothes and go to the mall and spend your hard earned money just so you can sit next to someone on THE BUS wearing your same outfit"

My Response: "Well then Maxxonista stop shopping at TJ Maxx, Ross and Marshall's. Lord knows, shopping at any of them requires patience and a few wrestling moves."

The featured skirt was a "love at first sight buy" that was purchased from a local thrift store for $7.00. The skirt is perfect for winter with it's beautiful pop cherry red and gold, not to mention the double knitting (I'm in love with it)!
